These lovely pools are located at the end of a beautiful two-mile trail, which winds through lush rainforest and ends at a black sand beach. Be sure to wear good walking shoes and bring plenty of water. These pristine pools are well worth the hike to get there.
  • Sandy Point
    National Wildlife Refuge
    Featuring a three-mile strip of white sand and turquoise water, this wildlife refuge is a must-see in St. Croix. Snorkelers commonly spot sea turtles and rays here, while beachgoers enjoy the sparsely populated beach. Please note that it's forbidden to stake anything in the sand (including umbrellas), so remember to bring plenty of sunscreen.
  • St. George Village
    Botanical Gardens
    Over 1,500 botanical species await you at the St. George Village Botanical Gardens, located on the site of a 19th century sugarcane plantation. Immerse yourself in a diverse array of flora, from succulents to orchids. Don't miss the fully restored blacksmith's shop and plantation supervisor's house.
